About the Artist
I am Flip Moller, a Dutch artist who spent years living and painting in South Africa before returning to the Netherlands in 2020. It is where I developed my style, which I call abstract realism: inspired by modern art, street art and pop art, the colors are bold and expressive, but the subject always remains recognizable. I work with acrylics and a palette knife, because life is too short to wait for oil paint to dry. From Canvas to Catwalk
In 2022, one of Flip’s paintings was transformed into a wearable work of art and modeled at the Dutch Sustainable Fashion Week (DSFW) in Rotterdam Centraal Station.
